A Forbes magazine article reported that employees who stayed at a firm for a long time make less money, as much as 50% less than those who moved. The longer the employee stayed at the same firm the more earnings s/he left on the table.
The US Department of Labor reported an increase of 313,000 jobs in February 2018. Unemployment is 4.1% for the fifth consecutive month. Some states such as Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Vermont, Hawaii and New Hampshire have under 3% unemployment.
